Haircut.

The “special” school papers are starting to come home.  This means the end of 2nd grade is near.  Love my girl.  3rd grade seems way too old.

I hardly EVER use an iphone picture for my pic of the day, but all I had was my iphone and this is WORTH REMEMBERING.  Today my friend Amy’s husband Jim had a value replacement surgery on his heart.  It has been a LONG day.

This was taken right after Dr. Lewis came in to tell her surgery went well and that Jim’s heart was now beating on it’s own. Praise God!

Today we went to a service for the soon to be graduating seniors of Leroy High.

During the service they have a  Rose Ceremony where each graduation senior’s name is called, they walk over to their Mom’s (or other significant person in their life) and hand them a  rose.

This is a photo of Joseph (our nephew) hugging his momma right after he gave her that rose, and his Daddy (Uncle Clark) praising God for his son. Sweet moment in time.  We love you Joseph and are very proud of you.

This is my sister in-law. She has watched her son play baseball on this field since he was a small boy. Today she watched him pitch for the last time on this field. Hopefully he will be pitching in the semi finals next week (it just wont be on Leroy’s field).  We will find out tomorrow. Job well done Joseph.

Oh how I love thee.

Today we made a paper chain to show how many days are left of school.  Bring on the summer.  Oh wait…I live in Alabama now, hello heat stroke.

Grace scrapped her foot on the tennis courts and somehow convinced Abigail she needed to be hand fed goldfish and a juice box.
