Can you say yummy southern goodness. Last week I had the privilege of photographing a very fun event called Christmas at the Caroline house. Christmas at the Caroline House is an event that is put on by the Woman’s Ministry team at Briarwood Presbyterian Church. They start the event with a delicious brunch accompanied by a performance from the Briarwood Ballet Performers. They also have a guest speaker come and share about the Joy of Christ in Christmas. Following the speaker and Performance they have a tour of the woman’s ministry house that has been decorated for Christmas. A talented team of woman share their talents by decorating the house, and when I say “decorate the house” I mean serious business. When walked into the house it was as if you had stepped into a Southern Living Magazine, or the Pottery Barn Catalog itself. Not only was it pretty to look at but there was a sweet reflection of all these woman who poured their talents into this beautiful home, allowing us all to get in the Christmas spirit by sharing creative ideas for the Christmas Season. I will have to make sure when my friends from Extreme Makeover are in town again they make sure to grab some of these talented woman for the show.
Here are a few details that I enjoyed from around the house.
This was the little girls room. I showed my daughter this room and she woke up the next morning and said “mommy I had the best dream last night, I dreamt that this was my room”
