Today I am a proud Mama! A few months ago a friend of ours donated her hair to locks of love. Locks of Love is an organization that takes donated hair and makes hair pieces for children who have lost their hair due to a medical diagnoses such as Alopecia and Cancer.  I had heard about this organization a long time ago, because my sister in-law actually donated her hair a while back,  but had never really given it any more thought. When Grace saw that her little friend Nola had donated her hair, my sweet little Grace asked if she could do it too…and today she did! She loved getting her haircut at Morgan Gerard by our good friend Jesse. She said “Mom, that place was so fancy, I think that we should go there all the time for haircuts.” She had her hair washed, cut and styled and was all dolled up by Jesse (who by the way, if you need a style…Jesse has got it going on).
