This contest has been AMAZING! It has been so neat to get a thousands of emails, comments and votes for all three couples. It reminds me of how a marriage between 2 people can affect so many lives. Each couple had such great stories of true love, and how that love was brought together.
I loved how Tom and Helen may have met when they were small, and that their families had worked hard to bring their children up to one day love one another. I loved the 2 separate photos of themselves they sent to me of when they were kids.
I also loved Judes and Dan’s story because they both selflessly serve us, by protecting and serving our country, the very country that Helen’s family moved here to raise their family. I am thankful for them and their service to us.
I also was moved by Gabe and Jeff’s story because Gabe works as a Special Education teacher. Many of my readers may not know that I worked in Special Ed for several years. I worked closely with Autistic kids and I know that you have to have a special gift to pour your lives into children with special needs. I also liked their fashion sense!
I am really excited to be able to give to Gabe and Jeff the gift of Photography for their wedding. I couldn’t wait to call them this am to tell them the news. It was fun to hear them be so excited!
