I had the incredible honor of photographing Rob McDaniel from the Springhouse in Alexander City this evening for a local magazine article that will come out in May. Earthborn Pottery is the customized pottery used at the restaurant and will also be featured in the article.  What a special evening.

 Little did I know I would also be served the most amazing 5 course meal. Hands down best food I have ever had in my life.

About a month ago I got a note from sweet  AJ (a senior in college) about her vision to one day be a “voice for the voiceless” in Uganda.  This summer she will spend 6 weeks with the women in Uganda telling their story.

I am so thankful that she will be able to take my old DSLR and put it to good use. It feels good to know it is being used for something more important than just sitting on my shelf.

Had a great play date with April and her little girl Charlotte at the park. I grabbed this one right as we were leaving.  I remember a day when she had to be lifted to reach the water fountain.
