“SAVE THE COCONUTS”

Tonight the Annapolis Women Photographers (a group I am in of 10 amazing photographers in the Annapolis area) hosted the photobooth at a major fundrasier for Breast Cancer.

It was a blast.  Here is a picture I took of Stevie T while we were testing the lights.  Our group has been meeting for 2 years and we have a blast together.

This fundraiser was very close to our hearts because one of our very own members was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this year.

She is recovering well and was actually there with us that night, to respect her privacy I won’t mention her name, but she’s an inspiration to us all.

Grace is studying Japan in school.  She has to dress up and had a tea party today. Sad to say one day later a catastrophic earthquake hit causing a major Tsunami in Japan.

Today I spent the ENTIRE day (I’m not kidding) trying to get the annapolis women photographers tag on the bottom of a 4×6 print.

I was preparing the printer for a HUGE fundraising event on Friday that the Annapolis Women Photographers was doing for the “Save the Coconuts” I used last nights session as my guinea pigs.

Today was jam packed with friends.  This am a bunch of us got together to run a 10K, 5K (1K for the kids) and ended the night with a little jam session at Potbelly’s with Matt.
