I have started a new tradition in our house.  I feed the family breakfast (usually cereal) on Sunday evenings before we head to night church.

Tonight I got fancy and made scrambled eggs.

I love this man. Like A LOT.  The first time we ever intentionally hung out together (11 years ago) he took me to his favorite fishing hole in Colorado.  He fished, and I took pictures of him fishing.

That afternoon I called my best friends and told them “I have met the man I am going to marry, and if I can’t marry him I don’t ever want to get married.”

Thankfully I got to keep him.
